Health Science (Research)

Health science research involves systematic investigation, including research development, testing, and evaluation of disease or health-related problems. Research may entail analysis of data collected for diagnostic, treatment, or billing purposes, or analysis of patterns of occurrences, of health care interventions, drug safety, and genetic and social studies. This research may provide important information about disease trends and risk factors, or outcomes of treatment, and may lead to development of new therapies and improvement in health care and public health.
